We appreciate your patience as the City of Colorado Springs works to improve safety and traffic movements at this intersection.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>February 5, 2026<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0<span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">The City of Colorado Springs will begin construction of a new traffic signal at the Marksheffel Road and Peaceful Valley Road intersection next week to improve safety and allow traffic movements in all directions from all four intersection legs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As part of the project,\u00a0sections of\u00a0Peaceful Valley Road will be fully closed\u00a0to the west and east sides of\u00a0Marksheffel Road for approximately six to eight weeks. The closure will remain in place until the new traffic signal is fully operational.
