Proclamation

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”13px”][vc_column_text css=””]The first official event to kick off the anniversary festivities was the reading of a special proclamation during the Board of County Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, January 20. Commissioners were able to share their thoughts on the dual anniversaries and the importance of celebrating our ideals and shared principles. The proclamation itself can be read by clicking the button below.

During the reading of the proclamation, a special video message was shared from Congressman Jeff Crank, where he shared his thoughts on the value of the special occasion. That video can be viewed on El Paso County’s YouTube page.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_btn title=”Read the Proclamation” color=”primary” align=”center” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.agendasuite.org%2Fiip%2Felpaso%2Ffile%2Fgetfile%2F52005″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”19480″ img_size=”full” css=””][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text css=””]

Veterans Expo

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”13px”][vc_column_text css=””]In 2026, our nation will mark 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, while Colorado celebrates 150 years of statehood. These milestone anniversaries invite us to reflect on the shared values that shaped our country and our state: service, sacrifice, and a commitment to community, and to consider how we carry those ideals forward together.

The El Paso County Veterans Expo is one way we are honoring these dual anniversaries with purpose. By bringing Veterans, families, and service providers together in one place, the Expo reflects our commitment to connection, collaboration, and continued service, ensuring that those who have defended our freedoms remain supported as we look to the future.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_btn title=”Learn More” color=”primary” align=”center” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.elpasoco.com%2Fveterans-expo%2F”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”19440″ img_size=”full” css=””][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner]
[/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1774626518118{padding-top: 10px !important;padding-bottom: 30px !important;background-color: #F6F6F6 !important;}”][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Helpful Links” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:40|text_align:left|color:%23002D5D” google_fonts=”font_family:Open%20Sans%3A300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C600%2C600italic%2C700%2C700italic%2C800%2C800italic|font_style:600%20bold%20regular%3A600%3Anormal” css=””][vc_separator color=”custom” align=”align_left” el_width=”30″ css=”.vc_custom_1774626303508{padding-bottom: 20px !important;}” accent_color=”#0074B7″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1775512249170{padding-bottom: 10px !important;}”]Below you can find links to different pages that will help you interact with the many events that are going on both locally and throughout the state of Colorado.
