Mr. Mariotti has served El Paso County as the Surveyor since 2019, providing professional surveying expertise and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the County\u2019s land records.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>During his tenure, Mr. Mariotti represented El Paso County in boundary disputes, notified the County Attorney of any unresolved boundary issues or discrepancies, and maintained detailed records\u2014including surveys, field notes, calculations, and maps\u2014for all work authorized and funded by the Board of County Commissioners.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe appreciate Mr. Mariotti\u2019s years of dedicated service to El Paso County,\u201d said Chair Carrie Geitner of the El Paso County Board of Commissioners. \u201cHis professionalism and commitment to public service have been greatly valued, and we wish him all the best in his retirement.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>The Board of County Commissioners will begin accepting notices of interest to fill the upcoming vacancy for El Paso County Surveyor.
