Applications for the open position are due by\u00a0March 7, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The El Paso County Board of Health is the governing body for El Paso County Public Health. The Board of Health is responsible for developing public health policies, approving a local public health improvement plan, providing advice to the Public Health Director, and overseeing Public Health financial matters, among other responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>Regular Board meetings are typically held monthly on the fourth Wednesday of the month beginning at 8:30 am, followed by Work Sessions when noted on the current month&#8217;s agenda.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>Regular meetings are hosted on the 2nd floor of the Citizens Service Center, in the Snow-Miller conference rooms, unless otherwise indicated.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>Meeting dates, times, and agendas are posted on the Public Health Department&#8217;s website at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.elpasocountyhealth.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.elpasocountyhealth.org<\/a>.\u00a0All meetings are open to the public.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>The Board of Health is currently seeking one new member representing a Citizen-At-Large.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>The volunteer application is located at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.elpasoco.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.elpasoco.com<\/a>\u00a0and can be accessed at:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bocc.elpasoco.com\/volunteer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/bocc.elpasoco.com\/volunteer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Send completed applications to:<\/p>\n<p>Board of El Paso County Commissioners<\/p>\n<p>Attn:\u00a0Ingrid Mobley<\/p>\n<p>200 S.
