{"id":15716,"date":"2024-10-15T08:25:38","date_gmt":"2024-10-15T14:25:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.elpasoco.com\/?p=15716"},"modified":"2024-10-14T16:30:22","modified_gmt":"2024-10-14T22:30:22","slug":"volunteers-needed-for-4th-judicial-district-community-corrections-authority-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.elpasoco.com\/volunteers-needed-for-4th-judicial-district-community-corrections-authority-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Volunteers Needed for 4th Judicial District Community Corrections Authority"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>October 15, 2024<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; The Board of El Paso County Commissioners is seeking a community-minded citizen volunteer to serve on the 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Judicial District Community Corrections Authority.\u00a0Applications for the open position are due by\u00a0October 31, 2024.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>The 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Judicial District Community Corrections Authority ensures a coordinated, effective, and efficient community corrections system within El Paso and Teller counties. The Authority is responsible for approving and administering contracts and allocating funds to provide community corrections services and facilities within the 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Judicial District and advises the El Paso County Board of Commissioners on community corrections matters.<\/p>\n<p>The 4th Judicial District Community Corrections Authority is comprised of three citizen-at-large representatives, which includes representation from El Paso and Teller counties.\u00a0The citizen-at-large positions are appointed by and serve at the pleasure of their appointing Board of County Commissioners.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>The Authority meets approximately six times a year in person with a virtual option, at the Justice Services office, 17 N Spruce Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80905.<\/p>\n<p>The 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Judicial District Community Corrections Authority is seeking one Citizen-at-large member.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>The volunteer application is located at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.elpasoco.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.elpasoco.com<\/a>\u00a0and can be accessed at:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bocc.elpasoco.com\/volunteer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/bocc.elpasoco.com\/volunteer<\/a><\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>Send completed applications to:<\/p>\n<p>Board of El Paso County Commissioners<\/p>\n<p>Attn: Ingrid Mobley<\/p>\n<p>200 S.
