The LDC update is supported by funding from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs Strong Communities Planning Grant Program.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>A dedicated website (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.elpasocountyldc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/www.elpasocountyldc.com\/<\/a>) for the LDC update has been developed to ensure transparency and public involvement. This platform provides an overview of the project\u2019s goals, timeline, and opportunities for community participation. Public input is highly valued, and the first request for community engagement includes a survey and review of the code assessment. Updating the LDC will ensure we are utilizing the most updated tools to accommodate the vision for our community.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl Paso County remains committed to listening to our community being transparent,\u201d said Meggan Herington, El Paso County Department of Planning and Community Services Executive Director. \u201cWe are focused on serving our residents and having the best tools in place to promote the vision for El Paso County.
